Reporting a road change

Roads change - new no-right-turns, closures, roadworks. Tell us the test centre, the route number and the junction, and we'll update the routes for everyone.

Common questions

Are these the official test routes?

No. They are independent practice routes around your test centre. Examiners choose the route on the day, and test routes can change.

Why doesn't the route start at the test centre?

Test centre bays are reserved for live tests and centres ask learners not to wait or practise there. Our routes start and finish on a public road about 50 metres away.

Can I use the app while driving?

Directions are spoken so you don't need to touch the phone. Set up the route before you set off, use a proper phone holder, and always drive with a qualified supervising driver.

Are manoeuvres included?

No. Examiners can choose any suitable road, car park or bay for manoeuvres, so we don't fix them to a location.

My test centre isn't listed

We're adding centres all the time. A few very remote centres aren't covered because there aren't enough roads to build a realistic practice route.
